Terms of Service

By using Synkeet (the desktop app, mobile app, or website), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are accepting on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Synkeet provides software that detects spoken scripture references during church services and displays them for congregation members. The service includes the desktop projection app, the congregation mobile app, and the watch website.

Free for congregation members. Individuals who use the app to follow along during a service pay nothing. The church subscription covers access for all congregation members of that church.

Churches subscribe to Synkeet on a monthly or annual basis. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as described in Section 4.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing support@synkeet.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.

If you are not satisfied with Synkeet within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion and are evaluated case by case.

You agree not to:

• Use Synkeet to project content that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the software.
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your subscription.
• Use the service in a way that interferes with other users or our infrastructure.

Synkeet and all associated software, designs, and trademarks are owned by Synkeet. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the software for its intended purpose during your subscription period.

Scripture text displayed by Synkeet is sourced from public domain translations or licensed APIs. You are responsible for ensuring your use of specific translations complies with the applicable license.

Synkeet is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the AI scripture detection will be error-free. We are not responsible for missed or incorrect scripture projections during a service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synkeet's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Synkeet is incorporated. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the app before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
