Privacy Policy

Synkeet is a scripture projection platform for churches. The desktop app listens to live audio, detects scripture references, and displays them on a projector. The congregation mobile app lets attendees follow along, save verses, and take notes. The watch website provides a web-based view for congregation members.

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — used to create your account and send sign-in codes.
• Saved verses and notes — content you choose to save within the app, stored to your account so it syncs across devices.
• Church membership — which church pages you follow, so we can show you relevant content.
• Session data — anonymous counts of active viewers during a live service, used to show the church how many people are following along.
• Payment information — church subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers; Stripe handles all payment data.

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To sync your saved verses and notes across your devices.
• To deliver live scripture notifications during a service.
• To send you your sign-in code when you request one.
• To process subscription payments for church administrators.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Synkeet uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU/US data centers).
• Stripe — payment processing for church subscriptions.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (sign-in codes, notifications).
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Railway — API server hosting.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

Your account and saved data are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@synkeet.com. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days.

Church subscription records are retained for 7 years as required for tax and financial compliance.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export your saved verses and notes.

Synkeet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the revised version here with an updated date. Continued use of Synkeet after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
